Job Description

A well-established personal injury law firm is seeking an experienced Personal Injury Attorney to join its litigation team. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who thrives in a fast-paced, client-focused environment and is passionate about helping injured individuals navigate their cases effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a high-volume caseload of personal injury matters from intake through settlement
  • Oversee case progress, including treatment status, liability evaluation, and overall file movement
  • Maintain consistent communication with clients to ensure clarity, support, and exceptional service
  • Identify issues such as treatment gaps, over-treatment, and coverage concerns
  • Supervise and collaborate with case managers and support staff
  • Participate in pre-litigation strategy discussions with senior attorneys
  • Review medical records, prepare case evaluations, and guide files through the settlement process
  • Conduct settlement appointments and negotiate resolutions
  • Communicate professionally with insurance adjusters, medical providers, and other external contacts

Qualifications

  • J.D. from an accredited law school
  • Active license to practice in North Carolina (South Carolina a plus)
  • 2+ years of personal injury experience preferred
  • Strong communication, empathy, and client-service mindset
  • Ability to manage deadlines and handle a busy caseload with attention to detail
  • Prior supervisory experience is helpful but not required
